This is a sync and charge cable for the newer 22 pin ipaq - such as 3850, 3950, h2200, h5xxx, hx2xxx, etc. It will sync with the PC via the usb port or the rsr232 9 pin db connector and charge the battery only if a power supply is attached - the way the sync stand does. It is the single cable equivalent of a sync stand without the plastic base.
